minimalVNC — Support

minimalVNC is a minimal native VNC (RFB 3.8) client for macOS.

Common issues

"Server only offers RFB 3.x" — the server is too old; minimalVNC requires RFB 3.8.
TLS certificate not trusted — self-signed servers need "Allow untrusted TLS certificates" enabled on the favourite.
Authentication failed — set username/password on the favourite; RSA-AES and RA2 servers (RealVNC) are not supported.
